USTA Florida Tennis Position Announcement

USTA Florida is currently accepting applications from individuals for the USTA Schools Tennis Coordinator position.
The purpose of the position is to promote and develop tennis at all school levels in both public and private sectors throughout Florida. Also, to promote and develop after-school tennis programs through after-school child care programs or other youth organizations throughout the state. A strong education background is highly desired and a tennis background is recommended as well.

Some of the major duties of the position include, but not limited to: Build, establish and/or continue relationships with school district PE curriculum specialists as well as after-school care providers to stimulate tennis participation and program growth throughout Florida.
Administrate and facilitate the policies, procedures & requirements for school districts and after-school care providers.

Administrate and/or facilitate tennis workshops for core groups of PE teachers and after-school care providers. Organize and coordinate a USTA School Tennis Summit to train top level educators involved with both in-school or after school programming around the Section.
Promote USTA Jr. Team Tennis and/or QuickStart Tennis format of play to all after-school care program providers to help stimulate tennis participation.
