USTA Florida is currently accepting applications from individuals for the USTA Schools Tennis Coordinator position.
The purpose of the position is to promote and develop tennis at all school levels in public, private & home school sectors throughout Florida. Also, to promote and develop after-school tennis programs through after-school child providers/agencies or other youth organizations throughout the state with a strong emphasis on the QuickStart Tennis format of play. Someone with passion, dedication and a unique vision for developing tennis programs and working with people in schools is strongly recommended. The position will be based in Daytona Beach, FL at the USTA Florida headquarters yet have schools tennis responsibility for the entire state of Florida.

The successful Head Pro candidate will have USPTA-P1 certification and current Head Professional experience working in a municipal or recreational setting. Progressive teaching and playing credentials along with demonstrated abilities in grass root player recruitment and retention is required. Tournament organizational skills, familiarization with USTA – TDM software is desirable. Candidates must be qualified to work in the United States and be able to communicate effectively in English. COMPENSATION: The Head Tennis Professional position is considered an independent contractor with a monthly stipend, lesson privileges and additional compensation as contracted.
