Tennis Director - Valencia Shores - Full Time

Valencia Shores is an active adult community located in Palm Beach County Florida with 12 outdoor Har Tru clay tennis courts (8 at our Athletic Club & 4 at our Social Club) with lights. The tennis operation is located at our Athletic Club and includes a combination tennis office/pro shop. We currently have approximately 200 active adult tennis players participating in 25 tennis league teams at various levels of playing skills. We are seeking a full time Tennis Director who will demonstrate initiative, assertiveness and a take charge attitude. Candidates qualifications should include a minimum P-2 Certification, excellent verbal and communications that will motivate, encourage, and promote the tennis program and activities within our community. Candidates should also be friendly/personable and be able to deal with the tennis operations’ challenges and expectations. The candidate should have experience in the administration of tennis operations, computer knowledge and skills that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Electronic Mail (e-mail). Responsibilities include oversight of the tennis operations and facilities Monday thru Saturday, formation of multiple tennis league team rosters, tennis court reservations and scheduling, and coordination of tennis social events and activities with the tennis club. The compensation package will include a contractual annual salary ranging from $25K – $30K, 100% of tennis lessons, tennis clinics, and other tennis shop services such as racket stringing, tennis balls, clothing, etc. We would like to have the position filled by July.
